WEAVING IMPRESSIONISM
AND ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM
Working with a mixed media palette of sheep wool and other organic fibers like bamboo, silk, flax and jute often enhanced with bees wax, vintage linen and thrift store fabrics, I am currently working on several series of fiber art: 'Picturing Paradise', 'Organic Geometry', and 'Abstraction as Emotion'.

ORGANIC
GEOMETRY
Being trained as a designer, I love geometric shapes and directions. Designing these sharply defined compositions with the natural organic flow of the fibers creates a contrast I love to play with, always surprised by how softness and definition suit each other.
ABSTRACTION AS
EMOTION
The paintings in this series are intuitive compositions evoking different emotions through strong color palettes, layering and transparency, and shaping the fibers into directional gestures.
PICTURING
PARADISE
Creating imaginary landscapes based on real impressions of my surroundings is one of my favorite forms of creation. Often, I get inspired by the beauty of the Mediterranean, or the Caribbean – landscapes and seascapes coming to live through the alchemy of merging natural and colorful fibers.
COMMISSIONS
Inspired by your vision and designed for your space, I offer custom artworks tailored to your preferences. Whether you seek a specific size, color palette, or thematic inspiration, I love creating an authentic unique commission that resonates with your personal story and style. Let's collaborate to bring your artistic vision to life.

BEYOND WOOL
Photography, collage, ceramics, paper mache, wood, but also monoprints and painting with real paint ranging from acrylics via spray paint to gouache are other media I play with and sometimes combine with my works with wool. Enjoy!
